Since the Town of Jones formally created the Town Administrator position in July 2023, the role has undergone several transitions and periods of interim leadership.

The Town of Jones has been reviewing candidates for the Town Treasurer position following voter approval of Proposition No. 1 and Proposition No. 2 in the April 1, 2025 municipal election. The propositions changed the Town Treasurer and Town Clerk positions from elected to appointed roles.

Early last week, Jones Town Attorney John Dorman resigned from his position. In a resignation letter dated January 12, he announced that his final day in office would be January 15, 2026.... (subscribe to read remaining content)
